We desire one thing, but our circumstances make us believe God is not listening.

The devil sees the areas of our weaknesses and he shoots his arrow and it draws us further from God. It’s time for us to get in our appropriate position. We must be in a winning posture.

You ask, seek, and knock. This is the blue print.

We are so in a rush for what God has planned for us that we start to make our own plans.

Tabernacle- Temporary place of worship. Dwelling place for worship.

When you don’t have a specific focus, you get distracted.

The Tabernacle structure

Outer court- Everyone come in to ask for prayers and ask for forgiveness. This is the asking realm.

The Holy Place- The realm of seeking God. Asking God what is he trying to say. We are in the position of saying his will be done. When we seek him daily, the veil is lifted.

The Holy of Holies- The most intimate place to be. This is the knock realm and the dwelling place of the most high. He guides us to this place not man.

God desires us to live in the dwelling place. We get a fullness of God in the seeking realm. We must stop trying to guide him but let him guide us.

5 Things that hinder our prayer

  1. Failure to repent (harboring sin)

  2. Wrong motives

  3. Disobedience

  4. Doubt (lack of faith)

  5. Unforgiveness
